Course Description

These languages are the every languages of most people in Southern Sulawesi. If you plan to live in Southern Sulawesi long-term, these languages would be strategic to learn. Among other reasons, knowing and speaking the Bugis and Makassar languages will help ease you into socializing with local people. For this reason and more, we are here to help you learn the Bugis or Makassar languages and to equip you with cultural understanding as you live among these cultures. This class consists of twenty 90-minute meetings.
